## The path

I spent years building applications and infrastructure for companies of every size: production software, automation of administrative and logistics processes, integration between existing systems and modern tools.

There's a thread running through everything I've done: the gap between what technology can do and what companies actually manage to use. In one company IT wasn't the main job, and that is where I learned that automation works when the people using it understand it, not when it is technically perfect. Working with development teams, I learned to explain technical decisions to people who aren't technical. That's where I found my place: where technical possibility meets everyday need.

Full-stack developer and infrastructure engineer

Building services and apps in production, infrastructure and release procedures. This is where I learned what it means to follow a product through its whole life cycle.

Mobile developer

Automation of administrative and logistics processes for large companies, integrating existing systems with modern APIs. Practical proof that automation works even where IT isn't the main job.

Mobile development, code review and mentoring. This is where I learned to explain technical decisions to people who aren't technical.

## The method

### Direct

If something can't be done, I say so. If the fashionable tool isn't the right one, I say so. I'd rather lose a client than sell them something they don't need.

### On site when needed

I work remotely and come on site when needed. In Italian and in English.

### Everything documented

I document everything, because memory is fragile and projects outlast people.
